Application Process

Undergraduate: Nepali students can apply to the University of Sunderland through UCAS (institution code S84) or via the university’s authorized representative for Nepal. Before applying through an education consultant, students should verify that the representative is officially recognized by the University of Sunderland and follows the UK Agent Quality Framework.

Postgraduate: Nepali applicants can submit their application directly through the University of Sunderland’s online application portal or apply through an authorized representative. Most taught postgraduate programs do not charge an application fee.

If you are applying from Nepal and wish to pay your tuition fees in installments, you must pay a £3,500 deposit or 50% of your annual tuition fee before the University issues your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). The remaining tuition balance must be paid before enrolment.

The September intake is available for most undergraduate and postgraduate programs, while selected courses also offer January and, in some cases, April or May entry. Undergraduate applications through UCAS should be submitted by the annual equal consideration deadline (typically in late January), although additional places may be available through UCAS Clearing. Postgraduate applications are considered on a rolling basis, and international students are advised to apply at least six months before their intended intake to allow sufficient time for admissions and visa processing.
