It is not a full academic campus offering general degree programs.

UK Branch Campuses: London, Birmingham, and Manchester

Ulster University’s London, Birmingham, and Manchester branch campuses deliver selected programmes rather than the university’s full course portfolio. The London Campus offers selected programmes in business, tourism, and nursing, while the Birmingham and Manchester campuses primarily deliver selected business-related programmes. Admission Requirements for Nepali Students

Each Ulster University course sets its own admission requirements based on study level, Nepali qualification, academic performance, English language proficiency, and program-specific criteria. While many undergraduate and postgraduate courses follow the university’s general entry requirements for Nepal, regulated programs such as nursing, pharmacy, teaching, and selected creative courses may also require portfolios, interviews, work experience, health screening, or disclosure checks. Most programs require IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5, although health, education, law, and other regulated courses often require higher scores. UK Student visa financial requirements currently require evidence of approximately NPR 2.41 lakh per month for study outside London. London generally has the highest living costs, followed by Manchester and Birmingham.

Part-Time Work Opportunities

Yes, most international students studying on a UK Student visa may work up to 20 hours per week during term time and full-time during official university vacations, provided these conditions are stated on their visa. Students cannot undertake self-employment, professional sports work, or other restricted activities under Student visa rules. Ulster University also provides careers guidance and access to student job platforms to help eligible students find flexible part-time employment. However, part-time work should supplement living expenses rather than be relied upon to fund tuition fees.
