BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) CEE Preparation

BDS CEE Preparation is for students who want to study Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in Nepal. BDS is a professional dental course that prepares students to become dental surgeons. In Nepal, admission to BDS is done through the Medical Education Common Entrance Examination for Bachelor Level (MECEE-BL/CEE) conducted by the Medical Education Commission (MEC). The same entrance system is used for medical and health science programs such as MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, BASLP, and B Perfusion Technology.

For BDS, students usually need to pass +2 Science or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The commonly mentioned requirement is at least 2.4 GPA or equivalent marks, with required grades/marks in PCB subjects. Physics needs regular formula revision and practice because many students lose marks due to slow calculation and weak concepts.

For MAT, students should practice reasoning questions daily. Verbal reasoning, number series, logical sequence, pattern recognition, direction sense, percentage, ratio, and basic mental math are useful areas.

A good BDS CEE preparation plan should include complete syllabus coverage, daily MCQ practice, weekly mock tests, model question sets, doubt-clearing sessions, and time-bound exam practice. Since the exam has 200 questions in 3 hours, students must improve both speed and accuracy. Biology should be revised repeatedly because it carries high weightage and can help students score faster.
