Test Structure & Core Skills

Many successful test-takers use templates—structured phrases—for tasks like Describe Image, Re-tell Lecture, and Essay Writing; these templates ensure you always have a logical flow and key vocabulary ready, saving time and reducing anxiety. For listening, mastering Write from Dictation (often the highest-scoring task) demands strong short-term memory and accurate spelling with punctuation. Common mistakes to avoid include: speaking too softly or hesitating (AI scores only fluent speech), ignoring word limits in writing tasks (e.g., essay must be 200–300 words), forgetting capital letters and periods in listening dictation, and overthinking low-point questions. With in 15 days  of targeted daily practice—ideally 1–2 hours focusing on weak areas plus one full mock test each week—most learners can improve their scores significantly.
