Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharma) in Nepal is a 4-year undergraduate program in pharmaceutical sciences offered by the Institute of Medicine (IOM). It is available in 29 affiliated colleges under Tribhuvan University (TU), Kathmandu University (KU), Purbanchal University (PU), Pokhara University (PkrU), Gandaki University (GU), Karnali Academy of Health Sciences (KAHS), Madhesh Institute of Health Sciences (MBAHS), and Manmohan Technical University (MTU). The program prepares qualified pharmacists to work as community and hospital pharmacists, research professionals, and pharmaceutical managers, supporting Nepal’s healthcare and industrial sectors.
The B Pharma curriculum combines core pharmacy courses with essential subjects to build knowledge and practical skills in the safe use of medicines, drug production, quality control, and research.
